The Associació Sagrada Família for the elderly was born at the Sagrada Família Archpriest in 1979 and founded the current nursing home at c/ Roselló, 344. The initial concern, which unfortunately still exists, was to alleviate the needs of the elderly in our neighbourhood: the reception of elderly people with few resources economic, with family or social deficiencies, who cannot live alone. Nowadays, the Association is a non-profit welfare organization, and continues to work with the same spirit of helping and serving the neighbourhood.
The nursing home offers single or double rooms, meals with home cooking, physical rehabilitation services and psychological support. A group of professionals and volunteers make the operation of the nursing home possible, where the spiritual care of the residents is also taken care of.
