Confirmation is the third of the sacraments of Christian initiation and the one that concludes the formative stage of a Christian, coinciding with the vital time in which one is shaped as a person. At the age of fifteen, a young person who already has the maturity of their age, can ask, with the consent of their parents, to receive this sacrament, by which the power of the Holy Spirit is more fully conferred, and thus confirm the gift of faith that they received, thanks to their parents, in baptism when they were an infant and did not yet have the use of reason.
Registration for the youth catechesis for confirmation is formalised in the parish office during the month of September, and it is necessary to fill in the data form that will be given, provide a photograph of the person and their baptism certificate with a recent date.
In the parish of the Sagrada Família, catechesis takes place on Fridays from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and lasts for one school year.
