Parochial Pastoral Council

Every parishioner in the church has the same mission —as baptised— to announce the Gospel and to participate actively and committedly in Church life, which defines itself as communion of brothers and sisters. In this path of communal life and construction of the Kingdom of God, there are various collaboration and participation organisms among all the members of the People of God (ministers and laymen).

The most significant organism is the Parochial Pastoral Council, which is presided over by the rector, in which the other priests and deacons assigned to the Sagrada Família and the laymen that represent the congregation as a whole participate.

The Council is gathered usually once a month. Its members are renewed periodically. Its purpose is to advise the rector in the pastoral work that is being carried out.
