The Coral Canticela was born in 1978 in Barcelona as a result of the enthusiasm for the music of some marriages linked to the Parish of the Sagrada Família in Barcelona, where they currently rehearse.
The Canticela Choir participates in various parish activities at the Sagrada Família. It has also participated in several meetings organized by the Federació Catalana d’Entitats Corals, and it has given multiple concerts throughout the Catalan territory.
The choir’s repertoire is characterized by its diversity of works and styles that range from Catalan folk songs (traditional, sardanes…) and from elsewhere, to the most classical works.
Rehearsal day is Wednesday at 9 p.m..
